1) What is The SolidWorks Conblogerate?
Well, The SolidWorks Conblogerate is a “library,” of sorts, that catalogs the SolidWorks-related posts of most of the SolidWorks bloggers. For more information about the site, visit the About page.
2) What kind of posts does The SolidWorks Conblogerate highlight?
The SolidWorks Conblogerate only catalogs posts directly related to SolidWorks features and how to use them. The priority of this site is to gather posts that give tutorials or demonstrations or tips on how to use SolidWorks and to present those posts in an easy-to-search/find format.
3) How do I navigate to posts about specific SolidWorks features?
There are a couple ways to do this. First, you can type the name of a feature into the search bar at the top right of the page. This will bring up a list of the posts with related terms.
Second, you can click on one of the several Categories on the right side of the page. When you click on one of these categories, it will expand a list of sub-categories to choose from. These sub-categories will probably have sub-categories of their own. For instance, to find the posts related to the Mate feature, click on the Commands category, then click on the Assembly sub-category, then click on the Mate sub-sub-category. You’ll notice that every time you click on one of the categories or their sub-categories, their related posts are displayed. So, when you click on the Commands category, all the posts under that category — which includes the posts in its sub-categories – are displayed. Then, by clicking on the Assembly category, all the posts under that category — and it’s sub-categories — are displayed.
Third, click on the Tabs page button at the top of the page. This brings you to a page containing a tag cloud of all the tags used on the site. There are a lot of them, but it’s a good way to browse and see what The SolidWorks Conblogerate has to offer.
